Sandi Morris was born on July 8th, 1992 in Downers Grove, Illinois and raised in Carlsbad, California. She was born to father Harry Morris and mother Kerry Morris.

Morris has one sister named Jami Morris. She began her athletic career at age six when she started playing soccer and basketball but quickly grew bored and decided to try something else. When she was 15 years old, Morris joined her high school’s track team and soon realized that pole vaulting would be her calling.

One year later, she won gold at both regional and state meets and qualified for Junior Olympic Track Championships but decided not to compete so she could focus on graduation.

Sandi Morris was graduated from Greenville High School where she was a pole vaulter and all-state volleyball player record holder. She was introduced to Greenville Country, SC Schools Hall of Fame in 2021.

While studying in high school, she won 3A state pole vault titles at 2009 and 2010 South Carolina High School League. Sandi Morris has also joined University of Arkansas in 2015 and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to complete her education.

She won silver medal with jump of 4.90metres (16ft 1in) at World Championships in Doha.

Morris also participated in 2020 Summer Olympics, where she placed on 16th with jump of 4.40metres (14ft 5in). She won gold medal at 2022 World Indoor Championships in Belgrade with jump of 4.80metres (15ft 9in). Now she is training herself for 2022 Oregon Championship.
